Dollar Tree Packing Cube Hack

Prior to our Trip Jennifer started researching ways to stay more organized on the trip. In the past we've shared a duffle bag, but this year opted to try two smaller bags. Jennifer then started thinking about ordering packing cubes for each bag. However, while in the Dollar Tree she discovered small mesh laundry wash bags and large pencil pouches which she thought would work well instead of packing cubes.

The mesh laundry bags are 12"x15" and hold 4 tshirts folded and rolled up or 2 pairs of workout shorts plus a regular pair of shorts, or 4 sun dresses (https://www.dollartree.com/essentials-mesh-laundry-wash-bags-3ct-packs/130998). It worked really well on the trip. Jerry had a couple bags with shirts and 1 with shorts and Jennifer had a couple bags of sun dresses and another with pajamas, shorts, and tanks.

Using several large pencil cases was perfect for storing our undergarments and socks in our bags. The pencil pouches are larger than a normal pouch at 9.8" x 7.8 (https://www.dollartree.com/jot-iridescent-polyester-binder-pouches-9875x7875-in/331633)

The bags fit perfectly in our bags with room on the side to store the pencil cases. On the trip we were able to pull out the bags get what we need and put them back without making our bags into a jumbled mess. The bags helped our clothes stay neat, organized, and folded as we traveled and held up well. We will at least get another trip out of all these things if not more and we spent under $10 on them.
